Cattle Dog Drones exists to put operator-led, NDAA-compliant unmanned systems into the hands of the people doing the work — and to do it from a part of the country that builds things with its hands.
We believe U.S. defense manufacturing benefits from being decentralized: out of the coastal hubs, into the towns where engineering, machining, and military service are still part of the same culture. Sonora is one of those places.

Austin founded Cattle Dog Drones in 2025 to bridge operator experience with rapid prototyping and small-batch manufacturing. His background as a Recon Marine and Scout Sniper informs every engineering decision the company makes.
Headquartered in Sonora, Texas, CDD is family-owned and owner-operated — a deliberate choice to keep American defense manufacturing connected to the people and communities it serves.
