IN THE KIT:

USING THIS TOOL.

K9 Breacher is intended for situations where a controlled, ground-based approach provides a tactical advantage and where additional mobility, endurance, communication, or task-specific tooling is required. It is typically employed when a throwable system is insufficient due to distance, terrain, or the need to interact with the environment beyond observation alone. The platform supports mission-specific adaptation through servo-powered attachments mounted via Picatinny rails and a quick-connect interface. This allows Breacher to be configured for inspection, remote payload deployment, or controlled interaction tasks while keeping officers or operators at standoff distance.

Employment Examples:

  • Deliberate approach to a barricaded subject: Drive Breacher forward from cover to establish visual contact with a doorway or hallway, maintain observation, and use two-way audio for verbal commands or negotiation without advancing personnel.

  • Extended hallway or open-area movement: Use Breacher to cover longer interior distances where throwable systems lose effectiveness, stopping at intervals to check doorways, corners, and intersections before personnel movement.

  • Vehicle inspection: Drive Breacher under and around a vehicle to check for occupants, hazards, or suspicious items while maintaining safe standoff distance.

  • Exterior approach over uneven ground: Use 4WD mobility to move across gravel, dirt, curbs, or debris toward a structure, maintaining visual coverage during approach.

  • Attachment-supported inspection: Equip Breacher with a servo-powered attachment to illuminate, probe, or inspect areas that are difficult to view directly, such as behind cover, around corners, or through partially obstructed openings.

  • Non-lethal deterrent delivery: From a protected position, use our purpose-built attachment to deploy non-lethal deterrents or signaling devices at a controlled distance, allowing officers to influence behavior or disperse individuals while minimizing direct physical contact and reducing risk to both officers and agitators.

  • Standoff observation: Position Breacher with a clear line of sight on a primary avenue or point of interest and maintain eyes-on for extended periods, repositioning only to refresh angles or adjust coverage.

  • Post-entry security: After a structure is cleared, place Breacher to monitor hallways, stairwells, or secondary access points while personnel conduct follow-on tasks.

  • Route and obstacle assessment: Advance Breacher ahead of personnel to identify obstacles, unstable flooring, or debris that could affect movement or safety before committing officers or operators.
